Sure, but none of that changes the fact that a lot of very stupid and bigoted people voted to leave, and attacked the people who tried to warn them.

Yep, I've wondered the same myself - it probably won't be Mandarin that steps up for a few reasons - do you think that Hindi is too difficult for your average European scientist to pick up?
