The masked federal agents terrorizing residents - especially Black and Brown ones, and kidnapping of our neighbors off the street is horrifying. It’s a gross oversimplification to say residents aren’t perturbed. Other than that - it was a great piece.

As a DC resident that has protested against the occupation of our city - it’s perturbing to hear you blithely describing residents “paying them no mind” - I don’t think that’s accurate at all. People who live here are suffering mentally under the strain of occupation
