Open day at Deutscher Wetterdienst's headquarters, complete with radiosonde ascents, an experimental drone, a Metop model and a satellite simulator, aka thermal infrared camera: Explaining what we do and how we work to do our part in the weather prediction enterprise was fun and worthwhile.

Team Tiefausläufer was running the rainy skyline today in Frankfurt. We braved the weather and crossed the finish line together after each running their share of the 42 km.
