I was really hoping to break the 6 min barrier but I'll take the avg and place for an old guy. For my money, it doesn't matter what race you do TC Medtronic weekend. They're all fun and absolutely gorgeous. We *tried* the Toddler Trot...it was something. Do the Family Run.

That was fun. And the first time I've run the Raspberry 1 Mile in Hopkins. 119th place out of 168 people. Lol. It was still a blast. If you haven't run it, you should. Getting to run with my daughter Leighton for the Toddler Run at the end was the cherry on top.

Finished Lower Rice Creek finally! 3rd time's a charm.

First time kayaking the Mississippi River. We went from the Coon Rapids Dam and *almost* made it to Boom Island Park in Minneapolis before storms forced us to ditch a mile out from the finish line.

Woo! That was a very humid race. I talked to a friend and they weren't 100% either at the start of the race. Which makes me feel a little better? I got jammed for at least the first half mile. I've had numerous races at the U where the race turns into multiple bottlenecks. But a really fun race too.

You finally did it, bro. We're proud of you, Vitaliy. Kick your feet up and take a few weeks off to rest. You've earned it.

Miss ya, Pops. My kids would have loved you. Keep watching over us. 3rd year we don't have you around and it doesn't get any easier.

Hard to believe this was a little over 12 years ago. My winter wardrobe has dramatically changed since then. For the better. And much warmer. When I first moved to Minnesota in 2010, I only had a JCPENNEY jacket, mittens that doubled as fingerless gloves, and a pompom hat.

Throwback Thursday! Urban Stars unite! I had the opportunity back in 2010 to be the head coach of the 7th grade boys Urban Stars soccer team in Minneapolis. Those were the most fun, talented, humble, and funny kids I've ever been around. We capped the season with a W in the championship game 🏆
