I got one more little petit char doodle to post before I truly start this year.

I forgot the subtitles in video, but I put them in the alts.

The holidays are over, so I'll work myself up to full paintings again over the coming days.

Also got a timelapse because I wanted to try a new workflow. Taking the smudge brush and going ham is my favourite part of drawing.

I included the sketching in the timelapse this time. But its mostly more stylized painting practice. I think I'm almost there with painting faces.

Getting the eyes to read well while in shadow was quite tricky on this one. Played around with using saturation a lot more than I thought I would

I think the handgun was the trickiest on this one. Should have taken the time to solve it during sketching instead of during the painting stage.

I also got the timelapses, here in order of creation. So you can see I got a lot more efficient as I dialed in on the final look.
