Genuine question. Hope someone can put this to rest for me. Why would anyone in their right mind imagine a lifetime appointment to a position of power such as an appointment to the supreme court, also assume that it could be guaranteed to remain a neutral position? Thank you x

Genuine request, please elaborate. My dad was conscripted to Vietnam, and it did irreparable psychological harm to my grandmother. He didn’t die in combat, but it eventually killed him at the age of 38. As a parent, conscription is terrifying.

Why aren’t we asking about the timing? Why now? Why suddenly is this a threat? Within a week it’s gone from 0-60. We were just being told we had nothing to do with it. Now this is a justification? They think we will just lap up whatever they are saying. So unbelievably over it. Get out of our way.

What if we all turn up at the same time? Could be a fight. I’d do it but I’m 5’2 145, I mean 120lbs, I wouldn’t fool anyone. Also parking. They’ll know when you have to walk 5 blocks to the nearest pay and display cos you don’t have an exempt license plate to swap out. This is a thinker 😳
