The intent is to spark righteous indignation, but all I feel is a black void where once there was meaning.

I keep saying i’m gonna do it but i think im putting my foot down.

Every time i use this website i become anxious, sick to my stomach, hopeless. Any momentum I have is immediately destroyed, rendered vapid and frivolous in the face of nihilism.

Any time I talk about music that I like, I am consistently met with mid-level ambivalence at best, confusion at worst. I just need to accept that I am deeply emotionally moved by blunt emotional statements and unimpressive sonic choices.

ya know what, i’ll say it. AJR is one of my favorite bands. Consistently good songs for like a decade now. Hits the right balance between bouncy ear-worms and emotional honesty.

Still, I think this is an interesting example of how we can make assumptions about people, especially those with disabilities, and how they engage with fantasy.

Tbf, he hasn’t been the most roleplay focused player, mostly staying quiet except when it’s his turn in combat. I had a conversation about it so I think we’re on the same page now.

I was playing DND a few weeks ago and I described the party going up a set of stairs. “One of my players asks, Do they have an elevator?”

I feel like such a goober for not recognizing that one of my players, who is in a wheelchair, might also be playing a character who uses a wheelchair.

I think the biggest problem with any D20 system is that it isn’t fun to constantly miss attacks. I almost always lower monster AC to like 15 or less cause otherwise combat takes too long and it feels bad to waste your whole turn as a player.

I think it is really hard and somewhat silly to criticize dnd when everything in the game just comes down to “roll a d20, high number good low number bad” so I get very confused by people who get angry at dnd. It is so flexible idk how you can’t make it work for you
