I think separating infatuation and love is important. There's such a big difference. And setting yourself appropriate boundaries to manage your feelings and behaviour. The ability to engage in non-emotional physical intimacy comes easily to me though, I recognise it isn't the case for everyone.

Do I have a stronger sense of the meaningfulness of life the day after sex? Most of the time yes, but there's something broken in my brain where I romanticise life all the time anyway. But I do find sex soul-nourishing, hence choosing it as my career and wanting to share that feeling!
