I am ok if this is how the series wraps up. But I am also ok if Stephen Lang emerges from the chasm as a white wizard fully redeemed.

Bloated as all get out.  Definitely felt like Cameron was wondering if he would really get to (or want to) make 5 of these so he packed 3 movies into 1.  Definitely some plot threads that didn’t get f...

I know this might be super specific, but I watched this at my grandma’s house and I did not have cable or a VCR at the time, so something like HBO was absolutely crazy. A channel that played movies and had Muppets?! Hits me in the feels every single time.

Wow, this one really hits me in the feels every time I watch it.  I am instantly transported to sitting on my grandma’s couch watching it on HBO.  I didn’t have cable at home so to have not only cable...

There have been a lot of movies that attempt to capture life on the margins. But Frank Dillane’s performance and the swerves into surrealism set this one apart from the rest. Definitely worth your time.

A portrait of a life on the margins.  The swerves into surrealism set this apart and the lead performance from Frank Dillane is top notch.

A really good time. The beginning is a bit bumpy, but it is a lot of fun for the majority of the run time. Not 100% sold on Glen Powell personally, but he is solid in this one.

A ★★★★ review of The Running Man (2025)
The very beginning is a bit herky jerky, but when the movie settles in it is a blast.  Great action set pieces, and some fun satire along the way.

Story wise it is as flawed as people generally thought back in 2019. But boy howdy the action sequences are great. Wish the script had been given some more time in the oven.

Re-watched in honor of Rob Reiner. Bruno Kirby and Carrie Fisher really stood out this time. The scene where they are both on the phone (one with Harry and the other with Sally) is comedy gold.

Really cool doc. It is perfect for Maron, 90 minutes of just picking at scabs and reliving past nightmares. But in a fun way.

A very solid character study from Baumbach.  Sandler was really good and I am certain Clooney will get an Oscar nod because this is exactly the kind of role the Academy loves.
