For those Canadians🇨🇦reading, if you are not a fan of pp, please register at the federal Liberal party. I did it online within a couple of minutes. Our future depends on all of you who vote.

On a lighter(ahem)note, I found that moving my bathroom scale one tile over makes me weigh two pounds less.😂

This afternoon, I registered to join the federal Liberal party.🇨🇦

My husband has been doing all the kitchen chores this past week because I’ve been down with a virus. I thought that when I recovered, I would make him one of his favourite meals, West African Peanut Stew. He just woke me for supper. Guess what, it’s Peanut Stew! 🍲

This is just a warning to all Waterpik uses. I highly recommend that you do not use your Waterpik if you are stoned.

YEAH!! I live in Canada, which, for the unknowable future, is free from oppression and tyranny.
Sorry, USA. 🤷‍♀️😱😡

I post very little political content, as I’m
not overly familiar with the US government. I am, however, delighted that Mark Carney has entered the Liberal leadership race in Canada. He is a highly intelligent, thoughtful person, with a world view. He would be a wonderful Prime Minister.

Day five of whatever the hell I have that’s making me too weak to do just about anything. Hoping this breaks so I can get back to being normal.

I am so proud of Michelle Obama for taking the stand that she won’t be going to dump’s big day.
No woman who has an ounce of self esteem should attend.

The slow cooker has chicken soup in it, my appointments are canceled, and I’m in bed with this year’s cold/flu for a couple of days. I’m fortunate, because I will recover. There are many people more ill than me, who will take longer to feel normal again.

Out on my daily walk, I saw the doe again, the one missing half of her hind leg. She still gets by pretty well and is safe as long as the cougars stay up in the hills. There is very little snow in the valley, so I guess the four legged predators are finding lots to eat in the lower elevations.

@circleofchaos.bsky.social my type of person!

Don’t be the maga type of celebrity who, when their house burns down, have people cheering.

When I was a kid, I was the only girl in a boys’ group. I was a tomboy and wanted nothing to do with dolls. It was great, until I reached puberty. One day, one of the boys pointed his finger at me, and yelled “tits.” I was ousted from the gang, and went home humiliated, with my arms across my chest.

@juliindica.bsky.social how can I not follow a Trekkie and SciFi nerd?

For months, I have looked forward to a new series on Netflix, called American Primeval. Imagine my disappointment today when I discovered that it was not about rampaging dinosaurs, like the British “Primeval.” False advertising, I say!

When I was in elementary school, I so looked forward to the summer holidays, as this meant I could go to the library almost every day. I would carry the books I was returning close to my chest to keep them from falling. Ten years later, my first job as a teenager was working at the library. Heaven!

How to delicately put this when a majority of you have just had the biggest meal of the year? Every time you fart, a minuscule amount of fecal debris is expelled as well. Happy Thanksgiving!

I’m in my indoor winter clothes, with a few exceptions, from now until March. Sweats, two layers of shirts, no bra, and ginormous thick socks. Life is good.

Here in Canada, our mini TFG, also known as PP, was told by an opposition member of parliament to “grow a pair.”🤣

I moved from the BC Wet Coast to the southern interior about five years ago. The first winter here was horrific, not because of the temperature, but the dryness. After experimenting, two humidifiers, expensive lotions, and most of all, cool showers, I now consider myself adjusted!?

I stopped watching tv in 2016, and it wasn’t a coincidence.

I’m unhappy that Zuck has bent his knee to the orange felon, so I will be posting more on here to see what the social interaction is like. The other spot is comfortable, but that may change.
