Thanks. unfortunately the hearing loss I have is progressive, hearing aids assist and learning sign language is fun. it gives Arlo and I a whole other dimension to our training.

have them check for Chiari Malformation if you get migraines and your balance is off it could explain the other stuff. sometimes it’s hard to miss if they don’t know to look for it.

I’m following. I have traumatic brain injuries with Vestibular head Trauma and mild cognitive impairment and chiari Malformation
all this creates migraines and non convulsive seizures or focal seizures. along with back injuries, PTSD, and other disorders I can not work.

thanks, I know elementary sign & my service dog is learning to be my hearing dog. I lost more than 65% in 2 years ears now wearing hearing aids. Between the physical injuries, the head injuries all the psychiatric stuff,I am really hoping they don’t pull my disability.

I have chiari malformation TBI and vestibular head trauma
along with cognitive impairment and migraines. I have good head days and bad head days. lately a lot more bad head days. somedays I just need to

I am in the same boat. I’ve gone W/O a qualified Psychiatrist MD for over a year due to insurance bullshit. now they are threatening to take away my disability over it. My pcp has been managing medications. I am not self harming, I can easily understand how people go postal or suicidal. I’m strong.

I have to feel the ground under my feet even in winter. I become so ungrounded so quickly.
I also have TBI Chiari Malformation & Vestibular Trauma & non convulsive seizures which doesn’t assist with staying grounded.

I’m so scared I am not going to get mine. I have only been receiving for a few months and just got approved for medicare. I thought I was going to be ok but now my long term disability claim is in review again! they may pull it!

That’s the piece people don’t understand a cold for them is pneumonia for us. My friend came & hugged me about 4 times at the end of the visit she told me her daughter & husband had covid & she was going home to test. I got covid & lost my hearing. It’s progressively worse I am almost fully deaf.

I wish you lived in NH. I need someone to take my case on before I lose my disability. I have 2 Neuro psych evaluations done & my PCP manages medications Adopted, trauma raped 2x & also incest. TBI PTSD, AnxietyDisorder Depressive Disorder, slight Agrorphopia,
Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders.

I am about to loose my disability due to incompetence and insurance blocks. my therapist dropped me the minute I went on medicaid. Then I got a private insurance turns out no one in my state took it and then no one in my state is qualified to take my case except the major hospitals.
