Today is 97th Academy Awards. I admit I have not seen any of the movies. Nevertheless, I am rooting for Demi Moore to win Best Actress. I am rooting for Colman Domingo to win Best Actor. Both of them of having been doing good work for years and deserve their recognition today.

The new American government has made clear they will not protect the Ukraine. For their own protection, the Europeans must now provide security guarantees. If not, Russia will reconquer Ukraine, maybe all of Eastern Europe and could then move to take Western Europe.

On Inauguration Day 2029, Governor Andy Beshear of Kentucky will become the 48th President of the U.S. Beshear has shown an ability, in deep red Kentucky, to convince Independent and some Republican voters to support Democratic policies. He is the kind of leader the Democrats need now. Google him.
