I've noticed that these debates often aren't well advertised, or the announcements come just a few days before—too late for my feed's algorithm to catch them in time.

So, in case you haven't heard, CBS6 is hosting an Albany Mayoral Primary debate on April 30th.

The government has no business at all policing anyone's views on religion due to the First Amendment. This is not a gray area.
President Trump says he's signing an executive order to make AG Pam Bondi the head of a task force "to eradicate anti-Christian bias."

Expect to see lots of litigation on this!

If this happens - and if Musk et al get control of BLS - then all economic bets are off.

I can’t say it any more plainly than that.
NEWS: Sources tell me that DOGE is setting its sights on the Department of Labor next. DOL workers have been ordered to give DOGE access to whatever they ask for—or risk termination.

“We’re supposed to stop everything we’re doing and do whatever the DOGE kids ask… It feels dirty and illegal.”

People came out for the Albany Mayoral Forum, hosted by the @nywfp.bsky.social. The room was packed, highlighting just how important this race is for those of us that live in the city.

I missed about 15 mins of the forum and did not hear a certain submitted question be asked.

It's "Tin Cup Day" in Albany. Local governments from across New York State will submit their funding requests and other local needs to the state budget on the legislative record.

While much of the focus will be on NYC Mayor Eric Adams, Albany Mayor Kathy Sheehan is on my radar.
