50-something. Love a Megalithic site. Love music too. We all know why we’re here. Let’s keep it at that.
This weekend’s purchases. From 80s US Indie to keyboard-driven 70’s underground-UK rock to the black British music experience from the 60s. So much great music. So little time.

Less a horror film, more of a rumination on family, death and the retreat into the dream of Albion. Cannot wait for the next one.

My first two guitar heroes - I was such a big Police (Andy) fan back in the day. Fripp came not much later - Eno / Crimson / Gabriel / Bowie. This is a nice little set of their collaborative efforts. Bournemouth big band boys in effect!

Well, despite the opprobrium dumped on Rog, I found this to be a meditative companion to the original. Stripped back, lyrically dense but driven by R’s deep humanity.

RIP David Thomas - I first heard The Modern Dance (after a ***** review in Q magazine) at the age of 17. I bought the cassette in HMV Manchester. Mind duly blown. I hadn’t heard Beefhear, nor the MC5.. This was my introduction to the Avant-Garage. Crocus Behemoth will be missed. Thanks, David.

As I’ve given up with FB, I’ve decided that I’m going to post pics of music I’ve bought and really like. If folks find me and want to chat, please do!
From British Jazz to Dreampop to Post-punk to “Dance” to Black Metal. If anything resonates, say hello!

Men are stupid, regardless of age or country of origin. Am late yo the party with this, but enjoying it immensely.

Defund the Judges? Dredd’s always contained an element of social / political satire, but this is on another level. Up there with the legendary “Democracy”.

I’m not Catholic, my experiences with the faith have only happened within the parameters of my working life but this was as absorbing as any thriller. Top notch performances.
