Something I have said often as a coach through the years. “Fair does not mean equal” Every athlete is different and in so many ways. To treat them equally would be unfair.

The US Cyclocross Nationals track is a good one this year. The main debate for the UCI races today is when will the ground begin to thaw and the mud begin to appear.

Coaching is as much an art as it is a science. Furthermore that science is both “hard” and “soft”. Be sure to spend time and energy on all of it. Your athletes will thank you.
