I want the names of everyone celebrating this.

I mean, she lost?

What do you think happened?

I’d like to clarify that communicable is the main point. She ran a poor enough campaign most voters didn’t know what she stood for. Unlike Mamdani, who was crystal clear Kamala was both pro Israel and pro human rights? Pro border patrol and also pro minorities? Average voters can’t parse this imo.

People do tend to get violent when oppressed to within an inch of their life. Not sure any history justifies the indiscriminate bombing of children and hospitals and the never ending list of war crimes but maybe that’s just me.

!! 100%
I wish there were concrete ways to make this happens. I think policy, regulation, and deep deprogramming are necessary.

To puritans with the lens that genocide matters, Medicare is important, and capitalism is ruinous, Kamala I think appeared to be a similar evil in the sense that their vote didn’t seem to matter.

I also think everyone’s a little bit sexist/racist/stupid and that’s hard to combat.

I think it’s really easy to blame one thing in a seas of causality. The whole thing was a battle of orchestrated systems larger than Voters.
It’s like blaming the poor for not being able to make money. There are forces in play more powerful than “just vote blue no matter who!”
December 9, 2025 at 10:49 PM
I mean “accept this deal or we’ll keep bombing you into oblivion” isn’t exactly a negotiation.
Anything Palestine “accepts” is under duress while still occupied and through genocide.

For the record on all this, I agree for the most part!
But “voters should know better and do their homework” has almost never worked in Modern American Politics(?) and that’s both a problem and an obstacle to messaging that is, I think, the responsibility of marketers to solve?

I dont know about this. If a teacher just puts on a vid or a PowerPoint and reads from it, kids aren’t incentivized to learn. though it SHOULD come from within, part of the job is making the material interesting. I agree it isnt to beat the algos but that’s a larger problem. Like Getting ppl to read

Her own website had more “donate” buttons than campaign promises. I agree with you for the most part that voters need to do their own research, but she was aggressively Institution, people weren’t moved to go back to status quo. And again “I’m not fascist” wasn’t a strong enough call to action.
December 9, 2025 at 9:02 PM
I think folks wanted a little more out of politicians other than another lesser of two evils. I think purity politics keeps biting us hoping we’d have the best candidate instead of “just get this fucker out for now” as a stance strong enough.
December 9, 2025 at 8:59 PM
Kamala had no communicable plan, policy, or ideals, other than ‘I’m not him’ and ‘give me more money’. “Just vote and Trust me!” Is not good messaging.

She couldnt denounce genocide, she couldnt commit to UBI or Universal Health. She couldnt commit to transparency…

Hard to blame voters for that.
