I have a gdoc that I didn’t title and put four words into. It’s supposed to be an Engage fic draft given the suffix I gave it but I have no idea what it was about. These exact four words are also the start of another gdoc and also stops at that point before jumping into a completely different scene

Micaiah retracts her hand as he rearranges himself, but once he settles back onto the bed she sweeps his bangs out of his face and lays her palm on the crown of his head. Her thumb strokes along his hairline. “You were disoriented when everyone came back to Lythos,” she says in a tone that suggests that she still worries. “I admit that this mission drained me, but sleep has helped.”

“Seliph, please open the door!” He startles awake, suddenly horrified by what might be outside. The voice is familiar enough. Something compels him to summon Tyrfing into his hands as he slowly approaches. With one foot bracing the door, he opens it just enough to see Alm on the other side. “You were dreaming, right?” What a strange question to open with. The idea terrifies Seliph, somehow. He was dreaming, yes, but why does he feel like he’s done something wrong? Her face comes to mind again, and something inside of Seliph slips.
