You're absolutely right. I actually looked into the doctor that made that post and he went more in depth about what he meant. My bs senses just flare up when I see anything remotely downplaying these illnesses, so that was my fault.

Umm...unlike when COVID began? The Obama Administration had a whole ass pandemic plan that Trump didn't want to use. And Covid 19 is also zoonotic and we've known that for decades. And like you said, those 3 issues he brought up are HUGE issues that would make the normal flu deadlier than usual.
