Snorgin is a combo of Snorunt + Ginger + Genie. The genie being nod to the fact that seeing its bright light is like granting a wish for being safe in dire moments on snowy mountains. The thorn is now a tool this pokemon can use to cause avalanches on purpose when safe.

Snorent is a combo or Snore + Tent, since this pokemon in one that can house others, I imagine that it can come in different sizes similiar to Pumpkaboo. The large thorn on its peak is meant to help it latch to rock surfaces, similiar to a sea urchin.

Someone commented on Reddit that Ice/Steel was a downgrade from Ice/Water, so it’s staying Ice/Water :))

After having seen Mega Starmies official design, even though I’m not a die hard fan of the Pokémon. It’s Mega is underwhelming. I do think mine is better haha, it looks more like a shooting star.
