Yes! In the post-Dawntrail stories, the community concerns reached the devs. It is why after the main DT concluded, the following patches introduced new scores and brought back that fluidity that had been reserved for Hildibrand for many years. Even EW had some rough animation but much as DT.

I will say, I had no problems enjoying DW but I do acknowledge the glaring issues in the story. If I'm being honest, this is nothing new to FFXIV.

I am seeing the community shape the global release with the updates and slight changes, so it gives a glimmer of hope. If everyone can encourage the devs to reconsider these things moving forward on future releases, we may see something positive be born.

I can't lie if I say I am not wary. Those outfits are very questionable while others seem legit. I can only hope more people take advantage of the feedback so they'll lean towards hiring human talents like artists and voice actors. They do consider feedback. Better that than encourage no change.

I would rather see companies be clear and transparent. I would really hope, considering the whales, that they are investing in actual artists aside from motion capture actors,3D modelers, etc.

I will admit, the new year geese stream had me chuckling and I do appreciate that they hired a professional historian for the game (unlike certain companies). So there is still creative work and integrity in it but I do wonder hard about what they've not omitted. What and where aside the LLMs.
