taiyo is my big, 6-foot-1 loveable golden retriever lieutenant who is childhood friends with rukia amd renji. they grew up in the rukongai together, where they thought taiyo was a boy for give or take ten years. she was also taken under aizen's wing when she came to the academy and quickly became a kido prodigy who couldn't spell or read! since then, everyone sees her as aizen's pupil (or pet, depending on who you ask) and lieutenant. she's all nonsense, jokes and pranks whilst also being the kind of person you go to when you need her to beat up someone that's bothering you after aizen's defection, it hits her hard (especially since she finds out her idol and mentor HATES her) but she toughs it out and takes over as captain she also hates that POS, arrogant, rich asshole byakuya (until she doesn't) chizuko is a lazy bastard (she's too lazy to walk/talk/interact with people most days) that doesn't even want to be a lieutenant but got scammed into the role and now she can't leave her position because soi fon knows what she's capable of. she's always nagging her to do her job but chizuko is always running away and sneaking off to sleep in places where soi fon cant find her she's a pathological liar and she likes to make up false rumors in the seireitei and pretends like it wasn't her chizuko never stops smiling and no one really knows why there's some sort of creepy vibe about her... but maybe that's just because she was raised in a prison by her felon mother? beibei is a broad, bimbo/himbo sharpshooter that never misses her mark. she may have only one seeing eye, but it hasn't thrown off her aim whatsoever beibei's family is japanese/chinese with her ancestors having run to china during the quincy genocide. the day she got her scar is the day her father lost his quincy powers and died. her japanese is shabby and she has a terrible time with confidently saying the wrong thing all the time. she gets teased for it but it never bothers her she loves plushies, pink things and writing in her diary about all her daily crushes no one takes her seriously. which is why whenever she's in a fight and she locks tf in, everyone is shocked to see how capable she is. only for her to win and snap out of it like a possessed man and to go back to gossiping like nothing ever happened garra is an ill-mannered hothead who's extremely unlikable... for good reason. her personality is trash. she doesn't make friends and her hobbies include eating other hollows/people like her. casual cannibalism she was formerly ranked number 5 when nel was still number 3 but the two of them both got fucked over by szayelaporro and nnoitra. instead of running away barely alive like nel, garra become nnoitra's unconcenting fraccion (he abuses and mistreats her since she can't die and has a terrible mouth on her that gets her into trouble. he also refuses to acknowledge she's a woman because she's too tall and buff and masculine and has no tits and her personality is trash) garra's whole thing is vengeance so she DREAMS of getting free and getting even with nnoitra

the way taiyo finds out aizen isn't a good person is he just straight up kills momo right in front of her 💔
taiyo turns her head just in time to see hinamori crumple. she doesn’t so much catch the girl as hinamori falls right into her arms. the dead weight immediately tells her that hinamori is already gone and the only reason she’s standing upright is the hold taiyo has on her, and the sword in her chest propping her up. behind the sword she finds aizen, head quirked and lips curved into a smile. “megane… taicho…” she mumbles, confused. she remembers holding his dead body in her hands - limp in her arms in a way that, without her holding his head up, it would knock back like his neck was broken. the cold of his skin seeped into her warm body and sucked the heat right out of it. his lips had turned blue with cold and pruned like the moisture was drained right out of them. there was no life in his clammy, gray skin. worst of all his eyes, hidden behind thick glass, had been devoid of life and kindness. they still are. she looks down at hinamori dead in her arms. “momo is... you killed her,” taiyo says, dumbly. she knows she sounds pathetic. equal parts hurt and confused. “aizen–” she chokes on the word taicho. leaves it out completely when she can’t force it out. “how are you alive?”
