Easily the best installment amongst the bunch imo.
The ending felt too abrupt and open ended for my liking. I wish we got a better glimpse of the storm drain monster.

The aesthetic is such a delight to see the glimpses of Hispanic culture.

Ik this gets some shit from the VHS devotees, but personally I think it's fantastic.
The time/length of this segment hits a perfect sweet spot & stride.
It balances supernatural with "goosebumps" like cheesiness.
7 🌟.

I'm not thrilled that they're turning it into a TV series. I have my gripes about the original (I adore Sissy Spacek) but in the books "Carrie" was a bigger girl.
I fear we'll never get a faithful adaptation.
