Caring for a type 1 diabetic is like caring for a newborn all over again. You get very little sleep with the dexcom constantly going off because their BS is either too high, low, or the meter just quit responding 😵💫🤷♀️

Good morning blue sky. So I have had an exhausting week. Turns out my 7 yr old is now a type 1 diabetic. We have been in the hospital since Wednesday. I would love any advice or help on where I can get the best support groups and such in the Tulsa, Oklahoma area. 🥴😮💨😵💫😢

8th graders are a different breed. Watched my 13 yr old carry her big coat into school instead of wearing it. She wouldn't even have left the house with it had I not yelled at her to go back inside and grab it. It's 13° here!
