Ultimately my take is EVs, while a better solution than ICE vehicles, aren’t a solution for the environment but for the auto industry and I don’t see either of these energy uses as strictly good.

On the other hand, data centers generally seem to just ruin whatever places they are established in, put a strain on the local grid which is felt by people and what they produce is abstract and disliked by tons of people.

I believe this is a false equivalence, ICE vehicles are already on the road and replacing them with EVs not only has the potential to make the energy source cleaner (tho in the US that is not the case) but EVs are also more efficient in their energy use.

It could be nice to have a chance to replay older leagues and get some of those rewards on our own terms.
I always found project Zanaris to be a bit weird, it would be cool for certain people/content creation, but I feel like the average player probably wouldn't get much out of it.

I think I might prefer it to leagues; less decision paralysis, no overwhelming list of task, it’s just been nice :)

If anything, canceling funding for bigoted projects might send an even bigger message than not supporting at all. Hopefully they see the light.

At the end of the day I’m just mad that Microsoft implemented some arbitrary hardware requirements for Windows 11. Feels like a cash grab since, before talking to me, my grandmother was fully intent on just buying a new PC.
