I guess most of us are familiar with this type of situation, expecially those of us living in a city in a climate with hot summers, not to mention Mediterranean, Tropical, and Equatorial climates. Greener areas are cooler 😎 🌳🌴#urbanheat

In my humble opinion, the coolest and most innovative figure from the IPCC 6th AR WGIII. Basically, it tells you what you can do on a daily based to contribute to #climatechangemitigation (besides going to Fridays for the Future). Congratulations to @efesce and all contributors!

Scientific evaluation metrics are unreliable to say the least. Yet, they still matter a lot for habilitation/scoring/funding attribution. Here's a personal tale. Three years ago I received a private message on ResearchGate from a Chinese PhD student. (1/n)

My stats-god friend @Ahmed_T_Hammad lives in rural Indonesia. During 2020 he (+ @nytimes ) told me about LOADS going back to agriculture for a financial lifeline. I guess we went a bit too far analysing this...
