A year ago today, my mother was unfairly taken from us. My rock, my sidekick, my everything. On a daily basis I'm robbed of hearing her voice, her being our shelter, our laughter, our love. Grief is unpredictable. I'm grateful for her, what she has given me, us, the world. I love her endlessly.
