I like that. I read a lot of books when I was young that gave me trauma haha. Banned Books forever! lol Reading stuff like this creates free thinkers and analytical personalities- even if it feels scary.

I downloaded this book without actually investigating. I was pumped about reviews. This was stunning. Artful. Tragic. Pulled fear and compassion out of me in every direction. Hope book 2 is the same. Thank you for the rec.
