The debut project of this space rock duo, I was expecting more of what I enjoyed from their sophomore record, and I was not disappointed

While I wouldn't say this as good as their followup, Occurrens, it's still a very inventive, if unrefined work. (1/3)

The ninth studio album from the band sees them going in another new direction. Where their self-titled was a latin pop rock masterpiece, this diverges again into ambient jazz. It's... a strange direction (1/7)

The latest release from the rapper, it's also one of his most fun records (I say as someone who still hasn't listened to all of them (please don't crucify me)) (1/4)

First up on the list, we have Bringing It Down to the Bass by Tony Levin.

One of the greatest bass players of all time, this solo project is a celebration of all things bass guitar. And chapman stick. Levin covers several styles in this work, showing off the instrument's variety beautifully (1/5)

This has been a favorite of mine for a long time, one of my favorite modern metal projects and this may be my favorite song of theirs

A fantastic song based on a tragic folktale, really wrings the premise for every single drop of drama it's got and I absolutely love it for that.

One of the greatest album openers ever, a prog masterpiece.
