One of the worst lines ive ever heard on a TV show is from Max (not the actors fault the writing is so digustingly terrible), speaking to holly (a 15ish year old speaking to a 10ish yearold) : "...And if that wasn't haggard enough.." Haggard. Very popular slang in the 80s with the teens.

Truth. While at times i cringed so hard I fell into a pocket dimension, I am grateful that I am not invested in any of this. I do think children deserve better writing though. I feel really bad for the actor who plays Max, she had easily some of the, most awkward lines I've ever heard.
