This is how it’s done. Dr. Jack Turban is resigning after the NCAA announced it is banning transgender athletes from women’s sports.
A resignation letter from UCSF's Jack L. Turban, MD MHS, to NCAA President Charles D. Baker, dated February 6, 2025. Turban resigns from the CSMAS committee, disagreeing with the NCAA's decision to ban trans women from women's sports, citing lack of medical/scientific consensus and political motivation. He thanks the committee for their work but criticizes the decision's basis.
