Police have identified Solomon Banjo, 36, Joy Rogers, 64, and Michael Durbin, 56, as the three people killed last weekend at a North Carolina waterfront bar.

Solomon was an executive director at a healthcare technology company. He’s been described as brilliant and as a fun, positive presence.

Eight years ago today, a shooter killed 60 people and injured 800 more at the Route 91 Harvest music festival in Las Vegas.

Armed with 13 rifles equipped with bump stocks, the shooter was able to fire more than 1,000 rounds in 11 minutes, devastating the nation and shattering hundreds of families.
