Last week I wanted a really chill JRPG to play, so I started my first Atelier game — Atelier Ayesha DX! It is VERY chill (though some of the characters are extremely annoying) and a lot of fun. But why KT watermarks screenshots I’ll never understand…

I’m always happy to see Criterion adding more Indian films but I wish we could get s/t other than Ray or Nair. Guru Dutt, Bimal Roy, even Yash Chopra (that’s just the Hindi ones)…& there’s so many modern directors / films that would be amazing to showcase on disc! Ratnam, Bhansali, Akhtar, Ranjith…!

Terrible weekend but I did play some Air Riders. Weird and chaotic and confusing so naturally I like it.

I’d like to have the 3DS home menu as the main way to emulate and run 3DS games on the Thor, but in practice it’s a little annoying / inefficient. Plus if you want to play games from different regions you have to have two emulators set up…it looks super cool, though.

Aaaaand just finished Ys Origin over my lunch break! A bit less story forward than Earthbound, let’s say 😅 but a nice action game that goes down quite smoothly!

A THRILLING package from Alligator’s Mouth in England came yesterday!! Can’t wait to crack into the Harrison, but I’m going to have to reread all of His Dark Materials before I get to Rose Field 😅
