I’m not going to listen to Joe Biden’s farewell message. I’m pissed off that he didn’t DO MORE with the time he had, that he wasted precious primary campaign months by calling himself the 2024 candidate, and that he didn’t push for the expansion of SCOTUS.

I recently began feeding my dogs “fresh” meals. So far the biggest drawback is what happens whenever I open the fridge. The Senior Chunky Chihuahua (Coco) trundles into the kitchen and body-slams my legs to indicate her immediate need for food.

I do not have New Years Resolutions. It’s not a thing for me at all. The only thing January 1 brings me is a day off and a fresh calendar.

I finally got the shipping notification for my annual holiday cards, which will arrive on Dec. 20. So it looks like everybody gets a New Year card this season 🤷🏼♀️🎄

This year I’m excited to spend Christmas at a cabin in the Smokies. There’s work travel between now and then, and Big Projects, though. I’m not made for laser-focus in December.

Tonight I heard Timmy, my senior Jack Russel/chihuahua mix, scream-barking at the fence. The opossum was on the ground and would not give way despite MUCH scream-barking. My awesome niece strode out in bare feet to extricate the dog and apologize to the opossum 😂
