You should! Not sure why I never considered square root for batching. I almost always do limits base on number of cores, etc. Got any advice on tracking perf across runspaces? That's something I always bang my head on.

It was more like, "why can't we have a good shell?" If you've ever used a bash clone on windows they're awful and break in the weirdest ways. I was a Linux admin turned Windows admin. PowerShell is the only way to manage Win machines at scale programmatically. Also: Loops in PS > Loops in sh.

Funny enough I actually used to limit email to twice a day. E-mail tends to result in reactive work, vs working on what I have prioritized. So I would try to spend my mornings working on the more challenging thing I have on my plate because that's when I have the most mental/creative energy.

I remember that was a thing that was hard to transition when I first started to first work remote. Before I would hop in the car to drive home sit in traffic and listen to a podcast and by the time I made it home I would have already disconnected.

I'm usually reluctant to say much. I'm paranoid about people calling and recording my voice for deepfakes. I never say my name (but it's not something you couldn't easily lookup). And it's not like my voice isn't available in other public recordings. But still...
