Retired artist. Liberal. Amateur science geek. 2 standard deviations from the mean. Too lazy to post much.
She seems to be aging at warp speed. Stress? Is it worth all that to be Trumps lackey?

OK. Does it make the crust soggy?

Sculpturally it is perfection.

Why tea? That doesn’t sound appetizing.

What are they pouring on it?

I’m sorry. That sounds tough. Don’t let go of your aspirations. This is a hurdle, but it’s not the last chapter. It sounds frustrating.

That sounds a lot like depression. Tough time of year for that. I won’t pretend to know what you need. But I’ve dealt with depression for 50 years. If that sounds like what you’re feeling and you want to ask questions or vent, I’m around.

That’s one of the advantages of being adhd. I impulsively blurt out the truth, preferring all the ensuing drama over the discomfort of lying. Sometimes bad things can be good

Gee, if only prairie dogs could vote.

People weren’t better. We were all just as flawed as everyone today. But we had the luxury of time. We’d sit for hours and string popcorn, play stupid games and tell stories. People are being worked to death now and they have no time to play. I want to see work life balance change dramatically.

When I was a kid, Christmas was about the music, making decorations, midnight church, caroling, baking cookies, friends, parties. Family came to stay. The gifts were goofy and just OK. It was magical. People work longer hours now and holidays are rushed affairs with the emphasis on what you can buy.

It’s possible to use that power as a bludgeon. In times like these, driven by greed and narcissism, money has the ultimate power. Cut off the flow.

On its head.

Oh my God. The utter mortification. Entitled Nazis with no clue how to behave. Just tattoo “trash” across your forehead and be done with it.

I’m 71 and I’ve never skipped voting in an election.

Classy
October 19, 2025 at 4:48 AM
Well, it’s kind of been a big thing right from the get go in this country.

I appreciate black women showing up to vote. They put Biden in. We all have to find our best fit in style of resistance and push as hard as we can. And protect each other. I really hope we can win this.
