Could our so-called political journalists start nailing Farage on his voting record vs the public good; his lucrative interests o/s Parliament; & that he’s in the USA more than Clacton. Who knows, his fans might see the tetchy, grifting liar behind the faux bloke of the people act. None so blind etc

The daily litany of ‘will this bring the government down/are there plots to oust Starmer?’is obsessive & drowns out anything else in the news cycle. Political journalists aren’t supposed to MAKE the news or act as court gossips; this lot lost the plot during the reign of Boris & are now beyond hope.

Hmm, between forgetting people he has met on multiple occasions (Nathan Gill) and now comments he’s made about the grizzly Gullis, perhaps Dickie boy should be taking one of Trump’s cognitive tests, given his frequent memory lapses. It would be a shame if it caused Reform some embarrassment.

What a happy band they will be - sounds like ‘rats in a sack’ vying for baubles & a place in the sun as teacher’s pet. With this inflict of former Tory ‘talent’ a party rebrand to The Rejects Party would keep it the right side of trading standards.

Donald’s flying circus. Why do the press continue to participate in an unedifying spectacle where nothing is learned, the clown emperor uses it to malign & lambast his foes (real or imagined) and female journalists are humiliated daily by the misogynist-in-chief? Boycott this farce fgs!

They never got over the bitter blow of the failed Boris experiment: they had him nailed on for 3 terms after his 2019 victory. 🙄 Tories & their media backers portray anyone not them as unfit usurpers who can do no right. I’m disappointed in this Labour govt but tv & press coverage is unhinged!

There’s been a sustained effort by media & reactionary politicians to turn all forms of immigration into a source of fear & loathing: many who should know better have fallen for it; others, sadly, revel in their prejudices now being openly pandered to. A responsible govt would call out & stop this.

Pandering to the racist right, & pushing the Overton window to the extreme has to end now. It cannot be the case that there is more opprobrium for those who call out racists than for the racists themselves. The UKG needs to draw a firm line as this way division & civil unrest lay. White is vile.
