What worries me. Why did the military ever follow Hegseth order to blow up these open air boats, skiffs if you will. Send the Coast Guard and Navy to waylay and board. And act as backup if US military is threatened. But my goodness, where was the threat that led to to blow up and destroy?

Can someone tell me why experts are talking about “ non- combatants” hanging off a boat in international waters, when there was no combat in the first place? They were plying the waters and attacked by the US. Perhaps they were threatening the US by importing drugs but they never attacked the US!
