Ha! Mind blown because I literally just found this resource on my own earlier this morning from Oakland USD. I’m in the same county! Re: workshop model, no I have not tried that. And what does the social contract involve? Thanks for your replies so far!

I have 15 of them for 3 periods in a row. After the first period, 10 more come in and then we are all together 2 more periods!

Please explain to me how to manage a classroom of 25 newcomers. My typical management strategies (taught gen ed for many years before this) are not working. Most students are refugees/SLIFE. SOS. I’m so tireddddddd.

SAME!!! Other kids were into Sweet Valley High but I was Babysitters Club for sure.
