Today was the anniversary of adopting Zephyr. I feel very lucky to have spent these last 11 years with him. I can’t imagine it any other way.

I am officially back to actually reading books. I have a library card and everything now. It feels like getting another part of me back.

I meant to physically move way more things, and ended up doing more preparation to move things and cleaning most of the fridge. I am so nervous.

I forgot I can just show you all the nonsense Zephyr was tolerating on Christmas. He did not like this headband, but he always likes treats.

My main news is that I found an apartment, and I’m getting my new couch this week! I will be crying to myself about the security deposit/rent/etc for the next month or so.

I think the universe is telling me to move because last night I made eye contact with the neighborhood possum perched on a fence, and then the community cat/my part time stalker cat appeared this morning.

I really miss moving in places where you could have your lease signed months in advance. It’s so much less stressful than needing to end a lease before you have the next place or having a large overlap.
