It is a hard time right now and I can’t stop thinking about other people instead of myself but it’s one day at a time because there’s nothing else I can do so please do bear with me.

Life is never going to be normal but that doesn’t stop me thinking “what if?”

I mean I probably wouldn’t have had the opportunity to be treated like royalty or to run people over but at least I wouldn’t be in pain and questioning why I can’t do something, why my hand doesn’t work and so much more.

We need to do more to support the LGBTQIA+ community as allies for sure and to my colleagues and my friends thank you for sharing your experiences with me and others to become better allies. I hope I am anyway!

Although I personally don’t identify myself as a LGBTQIA+ member, every time I do I mostly get emotional but it also makes me reflect on the wider world and how we aren’t inclusive.

i’ve lost count of the number of conversations i’ve had including on my podcast, blogs I’ve read, seeing messages etc from other members of the community and sometimes getting the opportunity in various meetings.
