If you have access to (preferably organic) ARGAN OIL:
- Dilute a wee drop on your sparing olive oil or coconut oil (on your hands), before applying to face, body, or tips of hair.
Argan oil is great for your skin and hair too, and aid in decreasing wrinkles and elasticity.

Now, I know we all have different types of hair and this may not work for everyone but it is worth a try.
If you ever feel your hair is too dry, as a sparing amount to olive oil (best), or coconut oil (second best) to thetips of your hair.
For me, it does wonders!

Coconut or olive oil are great for moisturizing your skin!
❗DO NOT -EVER- use before sun exposure! It will fry you up and increase your likelihood of skin cancer. Before bed is best.

Now, I do own a vitamin E + hialuronic acid + SPF 30 artisanal cream, and I got it when I turned 31 because I finally felt my face was getting wrinkly from motherhood's lack of sleep.
Until then, I used coconut or olive oil before bed - on a rare occassion, when I felt I needed it.

...are completely unnecessary. They leave chemicals tha your skin will absorb and are not healthy, and then will pollute the water on the next wash. They also produce more garbage!
I never have used them. Recently though, I use wool balls becase they reduce drying time and static.

Cover bottom of pot with Baking Soda and let act for 10-20min. Add a bit of water and start to brush.
After rinsing completely, if you still need, add some vinegar (on its own, not to make bubbles) and do the same procedure.

Coconut oil! It is a great mouth wash and it can even aid your over all mouth health if you hold it and move it around your mouth for 10-30min.
Water and baking soda are also a good aternative.

Whatever you use, brush well enough to remove residue even in your back teeth, but not too much that you hurt your gums, it's the most important part!

To my knowledge, you can use baking soda and a bit of water to form a paste, baking soda and coconut oil, or just coconut oil. Test these a few days, see which you prefer.
I sometimes use normal toothpaste, but also use magic mud powder (health stores) and it can come in a glass jar.

I don't use any 😋 just my preference/choice. Saves time + money + the planet + my health.
Research about the contents in your make up, as recently, make-up was found to be loaded in carcinogens and other harmful substances. We absorb them! Just... be careful 👏🏻

⭐ Washing dishes in this way decreases how much soap you let go into our water.
⭐ It's also better on the skin of your hands, and your pocket.
⭐ With our small family, I spend one bottle of dish soap every 1-2 years!

I have found most dishes are ok just being rubbed with your fingers off the food in a basin with water. Then rinsing under running water. Even if some oil residue is left, it's ok, you get used to washing like this. I DO have normal dish soap, but I reserve it for only the greassiest jobs.

Soap berries - they are sold at health food stores or bulk stores.
To use, either:
A) Boil water and pour over a few soap berries. Wait a bit (15ish mins) and then add the soapy water to the laundry.
B) Put 4-6 berries inside a cloth sack and add to laundry. Wash with warm water.

1 cup of Vinegar per average load.
Adjust based on load size.
🍃 Refill or make your own vinegar for earth friendliness.
⭐ Even if in a plastic container, it's better for the planet and water, and your health.
❤️ When laundry is done, there will be no vinegar smell, don't worry!

If you want liquid soap, you can grate a bar into a container, cover with just enough water to cover the shavings, and after a day you will have liquid soap!

No really an alternative, but for body and hand soap, you can get bars without packaging (just a barcode sticker) at bulk stores. Opt for biodegradable options, for added earth-friendlyness. They have many options! Our favorite are olive oil ones.

🍃 You can find places to refill vinegar if you bring a bottle, but it is also possible to make your own at home -look it up.
⭐ Vinegar is very cheap. Even if you get a big plastic container of it, you will still save money and breathe in less harmful chemicals by using it.
