I personally wouldn't eat bugs (or garlic and butter lathered escargot, but I WILL eat whelks), but it doesn't mean cultures with entomophagy are of less value than mine or some Westerner's. These journalists on TV are just very pasty about it.

That's not even having to specify what bug use is for, it could be for animal feed or medicinal purposes, in some cases food for people, and the reaction is often visceral... While the French eat escargot. But no, bugs are grosser, I guess. (Something something personal preference, I GUESS.)

I'm just word vomiting because I really love this man and I dislike having an emptier bed with even emptier arms in -4 degree weather. I want to kind of fall over and cry because I'm not where I'm supposed to be, /but/ I am getting closer. We're getting closer.

I want to be a better person still, I'm not yet where I want to be but I'm closer than before. And it took a lot of learning, patience, and understanding both him and myself to get to where we are now, and I'm really proud of us.
