The polycrisis speed run starts now. As the climate data closes for 2024 the figure keeps emerging that last year will be >1.6 C over baseline. Faster than expected by decades. This isn’t concerning; this is house on fire level warming.

So Syria, who is finally out from the yoke of a wicked dictator immediately is invaded and bombed by Israel. Who, by the way, controls the Golan Heights seized illegally and still internationally recognized as occupied. There’s no international law.
