Coming back from NL a couple of years ago, we could see the south coast of NL for more than halfway to North Sydney. So I'm positive from Meat Cove, which is farther east than North Sydey, you can see NL in the right conditions.

They had one of their "drop" spots at the top of our street. No idea if permission given but we had to complain because blocking our line of vision off our street into 4 lanes of traffic. Does the city even look into these things?
