One fun yule being type to keep in mind are the various Christmas gnomes. E.g. in Estonian culture, we have them called "päkapikk" (they kinda came into existence after the Yule Goat but before Santa), but mostly are their own beings for whom kids put their slippers on windowsills and get treats
