Heads up: The Supreme Court’s conservative majority seems poised to rule in favor of a Christian therapist claiming a free speech violation stemming from a Colorado law barring conversion therapy.

The governor has control. It is Trump who has declared a state of emergency to exercise federal control of the city and the Court rejected Pritzker's attempt to deny the takeover. A gov. can't then declare an emergency and take over from the feds at this point.

Without explaining why, the US Supreme Court has declined to take Ghislaine Maxwell's appeal, which would have definitely drawn renewed attention to the Epstein files that the Trump’s administration is trying to downplay and keep out of the spotlight.
