I was pretty shocked when I saw this map earlier today. It’s great to donate to your local food bank, but it looks like people in New Mexico will be in the most desperate need when SNAP funds run out November 1. Wherever you live, if you’re looking for a food bank to give to, consider one in NM.

Didn’t want to accidentally doxx or endanger anyone by taking pictures of people, but here’s a well-placed sticker that amused me:

Also, remember the time they made the Book of Job into an animated sitcom and the Catholic League threw a fit so they canceled it after like three episodes? Another one I’m still quoting even though no one else remembers it. If I’m not God’s prophet on Earth, what am I doing with this corn nut?

Speaking of decades-old short-lived Comedy Central shows:

STELLA! It aired for one season twenty years ago and I am somehow still quoting it even though basically no one remembers it except me, my husband, my brother-in-law, and presumably the mothers of Michael, Michael, and David. IT’S FRIDAY NIIIIIGHT! (It really is, too!)

It’s never too late to start protecting yourself and others. Even if you stopped masking, or never started, you can start wearing N95s or KN95s in indoor (and crowded outdoor) public spaces.

Don’t have their names saved in my phone, but if you Google those numbers, you will find they belong to the Pittsburgh offices of (from top to bottom) Sen. Dave McCormick, Sen. John Fetterman, and Rep. Summer Lee, respectively.

Seen on a garbage can in Brentwood, PA. If you’re not from the Pittsburgh area, to see this in *Brentwood* of all places is pretty incredible.

Repost with a favorite book from childhood.

“An Owl and Three Pussycats” by Alice and Martin Provensen. (Let’s see if anyone else has even heard of this book, lol)

Actually, I have evidence! Here’s a picture of the crowd at the 2018 Women’s March. That year, organizers estimated that about 30,000 people attended. So this is what it looks like when ~30,000 people gather in front of the City County Building.
