i like the idea of the lozenge kinda hovering when you're close and then when you drive over it could do a little spin and have the interaction key inside it? not a bad solution for displaying interactions in the snow just have to make sure it fits in with the rest of the design

hmm i'd say that the rectangular areas work great as is, genuinely curious as to what else you tried out instead
