Jeeze local ALDI dropped the ball this year with Christmas restock, 99% of the time there’re fab, was told by Manager, none of their Christmas supplies on shelves/fridge/freezer goodies not being restocked since last week. Yup, missed out😏 lots of local customers in a “not happy Jan” mood. #hohohum

New Bakery/cafe opened in Nuriootpa shopping centre, doing a busy trade, came home with a vanilla slice. Verdict 8/10 still can’t beat Apex Bakery in Tanunda for their vanilla slice though, that’s a 10/10! Best in the Barossa. #snotblock

First participation in Tanunda Christmas Parade with her school Tanunda Primary, she had a ball, dancing with her peers to Jingle Bells Rock. She’s been going since a babe in arms. Blew Santa a kiss, he blew one back to her☺️then got a haul of lollies being thrown out to the kids. #littlestPrincess

She also said folks should consider getting their parcels delivered to their Parcel Lockers, it’s free, safe and secure! and would save the PO staff from getting abused by irate customers and you can collect at anytime of the day or night.

Aus Post courier also said, Post Office staff have been getting abusedfrom people saying they were home and didn’t hear courier knock! so they had to come into PO to collect their parcel, or organise someone else to collect on their behalf because they wouldn’t make it in time from work to pick up.🤦🏻♀️

Spare a thought for Aus Post couriers doing your Xmas deliveries, chatting to courier this morn, 200+ parcels on her work sheet yesterday, 80 couldn’t be delivered(signature required)had to go back to PO starts at 5.30am finished at 8.30pm, next month it’ll be 7 days a week with deliveries! #hohohum
