my dad took these stereoscopic photos of a mushroom but he can't figure out what kind of mushroom it is. @lukelukeluke.bsky.social can you help?

I don't know enough about mushrooms to describe it properly, but it looks like it has many small parasol-like caps instead of one large cap, and they're attached to a long, yellowish stem. The way it is lit on the black background, it appears almost to be glowing.

this morning I worried that I like the local humour column bc I'm getting old but then I remembered that I used to take out Erma Bombeck books from the library when I was 10

this doc, Invisible Beauty, about activist/agent/model Bethann Hardison, is so engaging. I watched it in bits and pieces over 3 days, and loved it all. if you're at all interested in the fashion world and/or fascinating people, give it a go. (streaming on cbc gem)

Post a perfect album from the ‘90s that isn’t Nivana, Pearl Jam or Soundgarden

I'm finding it remarkably difficult to describe this photo of her. The most striking thing is her mouth, which is aggressively open, and which features prominent white teeth at the top, and fairly thin, lipsticked lips. The inside of her mouth is black, so her mouth looks almost like a cavern. Her skin is very white, and her neck and chest are bare save some heavy chain necklaces, with the tops of her nipples just showing. (I never noticed that before.) She appears to be wearing a black cloak, so her eyes are largely in shadow. The overall effect is kind of like Iggy Pop meets Louise Brooks.

u got it. Cupcake was one of 12 made by my kids and their cousin, each featuring a different hottie. I was thrilled to see Samberg made the cut
